Kiss was an ephemera project I did during the summer of 2006. I decided to ride a rollercoaster until I had screamed myself horse. As a friend and I were walking to the rollercoaster we passed a face-painting booth and watched as small children got dragons and butterflies painted on their cheeks. Since I wanted to have the full experience of going to an amusement park, I decided to get the only face paint that seemed age appropriate: KISS make-up. The young girl who was behind the desk had no idea what I was talking about so I settled for a silver star on my face and a black star for my friend. It took six times riding the rollercoaster for me to lose my voice.
